Diana’s Story
I began to do the usual teenage things, but I had a strong desire to know the meaning of life – to be born, to grow up, to grow old and die seemed so empty and futile. I began, like a lot of young people in those days, to search for life’s purpose, which eventually led me to the Revival Centres Church.
I was told that God had declared that I must repent, be baptised in water and seek for the Holy Spirit and upon receiving the Spirit I would speak in tongues. I was a little apprehensive at first, as I had never heard of speaking in tongues and it seemed a little strange, but I decided to give it a try.
I was baptised fully under the water and sure enough, I received the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues. My life has never been the same, I have peace and assurance, I know that God is real and that He intervenes in people’s lives. I can call upon Him at any time for healing and comfort and guidance. I know that He is with me at all times and in all things.
